Series Capacitors Calculator

Published on

A capacitor is a component that is used in electronics to store electric charge (or electrical energy). In a circuit, capacitors can be set up in either a series or parallel configuration, depending on the use that is intended for them in the future. When connected in series, the charge, denoted by the letter Q, in each capacitor is equal to one another.

Formula:

Where,

CT= Equivalent Capacitance and

C1, C2 = Capacitors connected in series.
