Watts to Volts Calculator

Published on

Watts to Volts Calculator is used to convert electric power measured in watts (W) to voltage measured in volts (V).

DC watts to volts conversion:

V = P / I

calculating the voltage in volts by dividing the power in watts by the current in amps.

AC single phase watts to volts conversion:

V = P / (PF x I)

Thus, the voltage is calculated by dividing the power in watts by the power factor multiplied by the phase current in amps.

AC three phase watts to volts conversion:

Line to line voltage:

V L-L = P / (√3 x PF x I)

Thus, the line-to-line voltage in volts is calculated by dividing the power in watts by the product of the square root of three times the power factor multiplied by the phase current in amps.

Line to Neutral voltage:

V L-N = P / (3 x PF x I)

where the line-to-neutral voltage is calculated by dividing the power in watts by three and multiplying by the power factor and phase current in amps.
