Air Core Inductor Calculator allows determining the inductance of a coil of air core inductor.

To obtain the desired output, enter the diameter of the coil, its length, and the number of turns.

Formula:

L = (N2 x d2) / (18d + 40l)

where:

L represents the inductance in micro Henrys(μH).

d represents the diameter of the coil in inches.

l represents coil length in inches.

n represents the number of turns.
