- The motor’s number of poles.
- Frequency of supply.
After entering the necessary information, output in rpm is generated.
For the calculation, use the following formula:
Motor revolutions per minute (rpm) = 120 X f / P
Where,
- f: Frequency of supply
- P: Number of poles.
As a result, the synchronous speed of a motor is proportional to the supply frequency and inversely proportional to the number of poles.
