Standard Atmospheric Pressure: 1013.25 mBar = 14.696 PSI = 101.325 kPa = 1.000 atm = 101,325 Pa = 760 Torr

For meteorological purposes, 1 hPa (hectopascal) = 1 mBar and they are numerically identical.

Always verify whether a pressure reading is absolute (or) gauge before converting.

Standard tyre pressure of 32 PSI = 220.6 kPa = 2206 mBar.

Normal blood pressure of 120 mmHg = 160 mBar = 2.32 PSI - units matter clinically.

For very high pressures (hydraulics) convert to bar: 1 bar = 1000 mBar = 14.504 PSI.
